Delighting in the
Lord
"Delight yourself also in the Lord and He will give you the desires of
your heart.” Psalm 37:4 40 Days of Delight is an open invitation for people from all walks of life to go on
a journey with the Holy Spirit for the purpose of drawing closer to the Almighty
God who wants to reveal Himself to you.
40 Days of Delight is a modified fast that allows
limited food intake. More importantly,
it is an opportunity to invite God to speak to you afresh or for the very first
time. Learn how to delight in God by drawing close to Him during a time of
fasting and prayer. God loves you and has a great plan for your
life. There is so much that He wants to
do in and through you. But, to know, hear and experience these promises, we
first must draw near to Him.
It is
our prayer that on this amazing 40 day journey you will discover a love for God
through His son, Jesus, and a fulfillment that can only be found in Him while
learning to trust Him moment by moment. The Holy Spirit will lead you through
this 40 day journey of fasting, prayer and reflection from where you are now to
a place of lasting victory.
